These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website krakowtastytour.com (the "Site") and the food and walking tours operated by Krakow Tasty Food Tour ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site, booking a tour, or participating in a tour, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or book a tour.

1. About Us

Krakow Tasty Food Tour is a trading name of AE Events & Marketing, a business registered in Poland (NIP 6793287783), offering guided food tours and walking tours through Old Town and the Jewish Quarter (Kazimierz).

2. Our Tours

We currently operate the following tours:

  • Krakow Tasty Polish Food Tour, departing from Old Town at 14:30 (meeting point between Floriańska Gate and Barbakan)
  • Krakow History Walking Tour with Drink and Polish Snack
  • Krakow Jewish Quarter Hidden Bars and Polish Tapas Tour, departing from Plac Nowy 9, Kazimierz at 13:30 and 17:30

Tour content, route, food and drink stops, and duration may vary based on availability of partner venues, weather, group size, and other operational factors. We will always deliver a tour of equivalent quality and scope.

3. Bookings and Payment

Bookings are processed through our booking partner Bokun. By completing a booking, you confirm that:

  • The information you provide (name, email, number of guests, date) is accurate.
  • You are at least 18 years of age, or booking with the consent of a parent or guardian.
  • You have read and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Prices are displayed in PLN (Polish złoty) and include applicable taxes. Payment is taken at the time of booking through Bokun's payment processor. You will receive a confirmation email once payment is complete. If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours, contact us at foodtourkrakow@gmail.com.

4. Abandoned Booking Emails

If you start a booking but do not complete it, we may send you a reminder email to help you finish. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in the email. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

By you:

  • Cancellations made at least 1 day (24 hours) before the tour start time are fully refundable.
  • Cancellations made less than 1 day (24 hours) before the tour start time are non-refundable.
  • No-shows are non-refundable.

By us: We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to severe weather, insufficient bookings (minimum 2 guests per departure), staff illness, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If we cancel, you will receive a full refund or the option to rebook on another date at no extra cost. We are not responsible for any additional costs you may incur (flights, accommodation, transport, etc.).

6. Tour Participation

Meeting time. Please arrive at the meeting point at least 5 minutes before the listed departure time. Tours depart on time and we cannot wait for late guests. Late arrivals will be treated as no-shows and are non-refundable.

Walking. Our tours involve walking on uneven streets and cobblestones, typically covering 1.5 to 3 kilometers over 2 to 4 hours. You are responsible for assessing your own fitness and footwear. If you have mobility concerns, contact us before booking.

Food and drink. Tour prices include all listed food tastings and drinks. Alcoholic drinks are included on tours that specify so. We can accommodate most dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal, allergies) if you notify us at the time of booking or by email at least 48 hours before the tour. Last-minute requests cannot always be honoured.

Alcohol. Guests must be of legal drinking age in Poland (18+) to consume alcoholic drinks included on the tour. We reserve the right to refuse service.

Behaviour. We reserve the right to remove any guest from a tour without refund for behaviour that is unsafe, abusive, intoxicated, or disruptive to other guests or our partners.

Photography. We may take photos during the tour for marketing purposes. If you do not want to appear in photos, please tell your guide at the start of the tour.

7. Children and Minors

Children are welcome on most tours when accompanied by a paying adult. Children under 18 cannot consume alcohol. Some tours, particularly evening Jewish Quarter departures, are better suited to adults. Contact us if you are unsure whether a tour is appropriate for your child.

8. Liability

You participate in our tours at your own risk. We carry standard tour operator liability insurance for Poland. We are not liable for:

  • Personal injury, illness, or accident not caused by our negligence
  • Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings during the tour
  • Allergic reactions where dietary restrictions were not disclosed in advance
  • Delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by events outside our control (weather, strikes, public disorder, government action, illness, force majeure)

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under Polish or EU consumer protection law.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site (text, images, logos, blog posts, tour descriptions, route information) is owned by AE Events & Marketing or used with permission. You may not copy, republish, or use our content for commercial purposes without written consent.

10. User Reviews and Content

If you submit reviews, comments, or photos to our Site or social media channels, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use that content for marketing purposes. You confirm that any content you submit is your own and does not infringe anyone else's rights.

11. Third-Party Services

The Site is hosted by Shopify. Bookings and payments are processed by Bokun. Both are independent service providers with their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability or operation of these third-party services.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our tours, legal requirements, or business practices. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Site or booking a tour after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland. Any disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Kraków, Poland. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also retain the protections of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence and may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
